Jim McCleary, Certified Professional Coach and Counselor

Jim created Cottage Counselors to help those who encounter work and relationship issues. He began his informal coaching career as a small enterprise technology CEO in the 1970’s, developing his company into a nationally traded public company by the middle 1990’s. His individual counseling career was also underway by the 1980s.

Jim specializes in executive, business, and life coaching.  He also offers relationship and family counseling.  His areas of counseling expertise for individuals include healthy heterosexuality, anxiety, depression, and post traumatic stress.  Jim also offers extended counseling directed toward recovery from adult, childhood and family of origin emotional scars.

Jim has an MBA, an MA in family counseling, and is a Certified Professional Coach.  He expects to complete his PhD in 2014.  Jim is an Associate member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and the American Psychological Association (APA).
